This privacy policy explains how Saner Development collects, uses, and protects information when you use the HomeHub application, an integration built for the Google Home Developer Platform and Home Assistant.

We collect minimal data necessary to provide occupancy sensing and environmental monitoring services:

• Account Information: Name and email address as provided by Google during the account linking process.
• Sensor Data: Real-time occupancy (processed locally via your device's camera) and ambient temperature data. Note: Camera frames are processed strictly on-device to detect motion; video or images are never recorded, stored, or transmitted to any server.
• Device Identifiers: A unique identifier (Android ID) used to maintain a stable and persistent connection with your personal Home Assistant instance.
• Integration Credentials: Your Home Assistant URL and Long-Lived Access Token, which are stored locally and securely on your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

The collected information is used solely to:

• Provide real-time monitoring of room occupancy and temperature.
• Synchronize device states with your personal Home Assistant instance.
• Allow your device to function as a trigger for automations within the Google Home ecosystem.

3. Data Protection and Prohibited Uses

We implement appropriate security measures to keep your data secure. We strictly adhere to Google's policies regarding Smart Home data usage:

• No AI/ML Training: We do not use any data, audio, video, or metadata obtained through the Google Home Developer Platform or Home APIs to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
• No Advertising: We do not sell your personal data or use it for any advertising, marketing, or profiling purposes.
• Private Transmission: Data is only transmitted directly to the Home Assistant URL you explicitly provide in the application settings. We do not maintain middle-man servers to store your device state.

4. Your Rights and Choices

You retain full control over your data:

• Data Deletion: You can clear all local credentials and device data at any time by resetting the application or deleting the saved settings within the app.
• Revoking Access: You can revoke our application's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account security settings.

5. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy.
